Who we are

C.C. Edwards Construction was started in 1996 and specializes in underground utilities, site preparation and road construction. We are a leader in the industry focusing on customer satisfaction by producing quality projects in the Greater Northwest region. At C.C. Edwards Construction we take a dedicated approach to ensure a smooth project. Our employee commitment to safety shows in our safety record and quality control. We operate our company in an environment that embraces employee input and value this process to strengthen our safety program to involve not just managers, but to each individual.

Pre-Construction Safety Procedures

We know that safety standards are set before your project starts, so we get the plan implemented and running before we hit the site, pre planning is the key to success. This initiation process allows our site supervisors to review potential safety concerns before a crew even steps foot on a site. We document this and initiate a game plan to ensure your project runs in an injury free environment.

Active Site Specific Safety Procedures

We hit your project with both feet firmly on the ground and know prior any potential issues, each morning we do a Incident Prevention Plan, which describes the work activity of each crew and the potential concerns and how to ensure our workers are aware and are committed to their safety. Each Monday is the formal safety meeting which is an open discussion on prior items and a pinpointed discussion on a weekly topic to better minimize the safety concerns.

Close Out Safety Procedures

Closing out each project out allows our team to review how and what we did, this is our score card. This process also allows our teams to discuss the project, the special aspects of this and how we can improve our safety plan. This is key, improving how and what we do each day ensures that our employees and our clients will benefit each day and each project.

This business group includes the development and construction of plats and their infrastructure, consisting of right of way systems (road, curb, and sidewalk), sanitary sewer systems, sanitary storm systems, and water systems.

Involvement

Project management is a term we take very seriously. We collaborate with developers from the very early stages of a project to ensure a smooth project from start to finish.

Design Phase

When you work with C.C. Edwards Construction, you will be teamed up with a qualified project manager who will prepare a plan for development feasibility. Many of our clients use this plan as a tool to help their Land Acquisition Department. Our engagement in the early stages of a project gives us the ability to make field adjustments to site plans regarding earthwork and utility issues. This prompt involvement also allows us to be better prepared for project starts, ensuring a smooth finish.

Construction Phase

Our project management team works with you through every step of the construction phase. We follow a detailed construction schedule and conduct weekly team meetings on site to ensure a smooth, successful project. We anticipate and adapt for potential change and challenges before they happen, creating an honest and productive relationship.

Closing Phase

Through effective project management and an atmosphere of teamwork, your project will finish on a high note. The importance of completing the project through the recording of a plat is critical.
